The Morning News: News : New Events, New Locations as Festival Celebrates 22 Years: “Expanding its offerings for vehicle buffs, Frisco Festival will host the Cushman Scooter Show for the first time. Cushman Motor Scooters were built in Lincoln, Neb., from 1936 until 1965 by Cushman Motor Works. Cushman had been in the engine business since 1901 and began manufacturing scooters as a way to sell more engines. During World War II, Cushman produced scooters for the Navy, Army and Army Air Force. The show is sponsored by The Arkansas Vintage Scooter Club, and there is no entry fee.
