Ron couldn’t make it though our sometimes temperamental word verification (I think Internet Exploder doesn’t like it). Here’s what he had to say:
“I tried to leave a comment by the picture, but I couldn’t get the Word Verification image to display. Anyway, you asked (perhaps jokingly) if the scooters in the 1955 photo were Hondas. I looked at some of the other pictures in the photo stream, and there’s a name on one that says, “Silver Pigeon”. An article here: http://www.silverpigeons.com/Text2.htm, indicates they were made by Mitsubishi. Looking a pictures on other sites, it looks like maybe they’re both Silver Pigeons; maybe different models.
I enjoy your site.
Cheers,
Ron”
Thanks Ron! Sorry for the crappy Word Verification. If anyone wants to comment and can’t, please email thescooterscoop@gmail.com
