Egilk’s 2006 photo of Scooter ambulances in Taipei, Taiwan just makes me jealous. How about giving the EMT’s some GTR 150′s and send the C1′s to my address? Deal?

    they stopped making the C1′s didn’t they? and were never available in the US. They sure are neat, I’ve seen them in London, Greece, France.. . they had a 125cc and 200cc? i think, and a super strong roll cage thing.

    Why is it so safe? The driver is protected by shoulder height protective bars, an impact absorbing front wheel guard and a rigid aluminum roll-over cage. The C1 thus incorporates a car-style safety cell, formed by its aluminum “space frame” and roof struts. The C1 is fitted with twin seat-belts in a “cross your heart” fashion to keep the rider safely inside the vehicle.link

    Hey Kevin!

    I believe the C1 was only produced for 2 years and I’ve not seen on in the USA. I did some research with one importer who said he could get me one for an exorbitant heap of cash.

    I’ll have one some day.
