   There’s nothing classier than a set of all-white tires, especially to those of us who are fans of the funky pre-war (pre-Great War) autos.

   Still, I have trouble keeping a pair of white PANTS clean, so what hope do I have with something made to be rubbed against the pavement every day?

   Back ‘in the day’ when I was a teenager (50′s) I thought white wall tires were an American’s constitutional RIGHT! Now I think they are just a pain in the knee-caps getting down there to keep ‘em clean. I’ll pass on ‘um, thanks!
