Just thought this would bring back memories for some of ya out there. You know the funny thing is… even though it’s called the “Buddy”, it was one of the most dangerous scooters at the Sandblast Rally… Or perhaps it’s just the Buddy RIDERS that are dangerous.
LOOK OUT! BUDDYYYYYY! *CRASH*

Whattaya tryin’ to say, Steve? You don’t wanna ride with me when I come down to Austin in May?
Seriously, what was the dangerous part? Do I have to browbeat some people in the Buddy forums?

Keys! No harm meant, it’s just that the only wrecks this last weekend were from Buddys (at least from what I understand). They were out for blood!
I hope you’ll still come visit in May… and keep your Buddy on a short leash. I don’t wanna have my leg gnawed off.

Yeah. I’m planning to ride the Buddy to Baton Rouge, LA from Cottonwood, AZ to visit my son. I’ll be riding with another Buddy rider who is going only as far as Austin.
I’m trying to wean my scooter off of raw meat…

It seems that the Buddy has attracted the attention of many who have never owned or ridden any powered two wheeler. Those new and fresh to riding, especially in group situations like rallies are statistically at higher risk of crashing.
