No, sorry. No news on the eminent release of Suzuki’s 2007 concept scooter, but we do have a few new images of their “lead sled” here thanks to the Tokyo Scooter Stuff guys (title link) and yasukun2 (for the YouTube video). I kinda dig it still.

    Are you saying that Suzuki has commited to build this for 2008 and we are now waiting for its arrival? That’s what “eminent release” implies.

    Right… I think I meant to say “there is no news OF AN eminent release of the Gemma.”

    So as far as we know it’s still just a concept.

    I like it. But I think the photo may be a bit deceptive for the size of the bike. I’d like it if it were actually that small. But I think in the video it looked like a standard gargantuan maxi scoot.

    Dude, (I so rarely get to start a sentence like that appropriately) that’s what I mean. In the picture the Gemma looks awesomely small if those are average Japanese people. But in the videoo it looks morphus-sized (not awesomely small). It’s cool like a jet ski for the road.
