Looks like the C3 is starting to raise some eyebrows. Uncrate mentioned the Yamaha C3 in a recent post. I look forward to giving it a spin myself. The official release date is sometime in November. Let’s see if they hit your shop around then.
Who’ll be the first to install a 12v electric cooler under the seat?

So, I guess the main selling point of the C3 is the abundance of covered storage?
Considering the only thing Yammy and Honda offered for their 50′s was a basket, it really is about time. Still, when I got my Zuma, I also got a locking Riva trunk and when combined with the underseat is quite accomodating.
Now, my question would be, will the C3 match my STOCK Zuma top end of 45?

Mine does.
…well almost. It’ll do 43mph before the rev limiter kicks in. The speedo only goes to 40mph, but the needle will keep going, and stops at about 43.
Took delivery on mine 3 weeks ago, but only have 40 miles on it due to the bad weather we’ve been having.
Overall, it’s been great. Wish it had a little more top speed & power, but can’t complain. After all, it’s just a 49cc 4-stroke.
Another thing, the fuel gage reads full, thought it might be defective, and had to open the cap & look into the gas tank (1.2 gallons) Happy to say it’s not broke, the gasoline is still full even after 40 miles. The scooter is gonna be a great gas-saving commuter this summer.

Hey Chris! Glad you enjoy your C3. It’s a very eye-catching scooter, for sure. You’re gonna have lots of fun this spring/summer. Don’t forget the helmet.
As to you Doggie D… have you considered some stage 1 or stage 2 upgrades? I’ve always wondered though, how that affects reliability.
