If you live in the USA, you may not have even heard of MBK. They are France’s biggest scooter manufacturer and (in my distorted opinion) they make some SWEET little scoots. Yes, some of their scooters are just rebranded Yamaha’s… But items like the Kilibre 300 (see above), the Skyliner LTD (seen below) are a testament to MBK’s unique sense of style. It’s a bit tough to navigate, but you can check out their UK site here. You can also see their German site here if you wanna see more on the Kilibre 300 -or- you can go to the French site here to see the Jaguar branded scooter… YES, as in Jaguar the sports / luxury car company. I’m sure it kicks all kinds of ass, but I can hardly make sense of US specs half the time, so looking at French specs idn’t gonna do me any good.

Hrm… After reviewing the entire 2006 Yamaha line, I had my bubble burst! I thought MBK was responsible for these designs… NOT! These are Yamahas! The top one is the Versity and the bottom is the Majesty 125/180! Poop… What DID MBK design? I know they have a design team in France. Prolly just sit around and sip cappi’s all day… smoke those long cigs… Bah! But bravo to Yamaha, for having a very prolific design team! (enough to cover for other companies). But then, poop on them for not bringing the cool stuff to our shores.
