I didn’t get names (my bad), but late into the Sunday@Jo’s meeting of Piston Broke we were visited by some folks in town from SC for a wedding. They were staying right next door to Jo’s and were lured by the smell of blue smoke.
They told us there are tons of scooters in SC, to which I replied “Wow! I didn’t know the scene was so big over there!” and she rebutted… “No, if you see someone on a scooter in SC it means they’ve been busted for DUI and can’t have a drivers license.” She went on to say that the fronts of all the local pubs look like a scoot meet up. If you try to talk shop with any of them, they don’t actually know anything about scooters other than that they are quicker than walking to the bar.
Well, that sux. But it was good having some fellow scooterists in town to share stories over a blue cloud.
