The Hindu : Business : Scooter outlet for women: “NEW DELHI: Honda Motor Ltd. on Friday announced the launch of its scooter model `Pleasure’ and inaugurated its first exclusive showroom for women customers branded as `Just4her’ here.
The company said it would open 22 `Just4her’ outlets for its scooter in 20 towns across the country. It has priced the Pleasure at Rs. 36,240 (ex-showroom Delhi).
The showroom would be run entirely by women to make women customers feel at ease when they shop for scooters.
‘There is a huge untapped segment of women customers, which offers immense growth potential. With this launch, we are now ready to extend our products and services to this vast customer profile,” HHML Managing Director Pawan Munjal said.
The scooter segment in India is over one million units and it has been witnessing an impressive growth in the past few months.
Talking about the concept of `Just4her,’ he added: “Women customers need to be handled more delicately. That is why we are making special efforts to ensure that they feel comfortable visiting our showrooms both during the purchase process and thereafter.”
The company also introduced the `Lady Rider Club,’ offering special benefits to its members, including milestone rewards and personal accident insurance. — PTI”
