As the price of gas soars,it’s causing some drivers to look to alternate transportation means.
Some are ditching the car or sport utility vehicle and beating pump prices with scooters and motorcyles.
Scooter and motorcycle dealers may be the only ones benefiting from the high gas prices.
Mark Wysong sells scooters, moped’s and motorcycles at Cyclone Motorsports. They are zooming out of his North Charleston business.
He sells a record 10 to 15 scooters a week on average and says business is up 25 percent thanks in part to the rise is gas prices.
