THEfunkyman shares this photo of a scooter (what is that a Yamaha?) that at a distance looks like it has some sort of modern digitized paint scheme of some sort. Upon closer inspection it appears to have a bunch of colored tile stuck to it.
It caught my eye and who knows, it might inspire someone else out there.

That’s one thing I’ll say for the plastic fantastic scooters, it’s far easier to sticker ‘em up like a 14-yearolds skate deck.
Though the more I think about it the thing that prevents me from doing so on a metal scooter is not the material, it’s the age.
regardless, I wish more folks were personalizing their scoots like this.

Haha! Real cool Joey! I didn’t have the guts to turn my old Helix into an art-piece. Yours is a real attention getter though! What was the inspiration? How long have you been working on it?
Thanks for sharing!

thanks Steve! It’s been like that for about 5 years now. The inspiration was that I bought it second hand and it used to be a rental scoot, and it had been well scraped and “fixed” by spraying the scapes with a slightly different red colour. I figured I couldn’t make it look any worse…haha.
The Helix is great for arting up, lots of fairing to work with!
