Back in the day a band named Montrose appeared on the “Old Gray Whistle Test” show and rocked out with their song “Bad Motor Scooter”. Anyone recognize a baby Sammy Hagar as the lead singer? You should put this song on yer ipod so you can listen to it while you’re riding to the rallys. Thanks again to Houston Scooter Battalion for letting us know this video existed on You Tube… There was no King Crimson – Frame by Frame though. :(

Anyone notice how bands are taking advantage of scooter references so that they’ll show up in Google searches? (Hehe, I’m making an assumption with the whole Google thing).
Some examples are
1) Scooter – A German Techno Band
2) Lambretta – A Swedish Pop-Rock Band.
3) Motocompo – A Japanese Techno-Pop band.
4) Vespa – A UK Rock’n’Roll band.
There’s probably others. If the band actually rode scooters, sang about scooters or actually had love for scooters, I retract the whole “google” accusation… otherwise I say to you “tisk tisk tisk”.
