The last record I had was riding five-up back in February 2006.
Today Keith Kelly shares a photo taken in Cambodia of a family of SIX on a single scoot… A Honda? I’m not sure… but it looks awfully frightening. PLEASE don’t hit a bump. Thanks Keith! We look forward to MORE from your Cambodia – On the Road collection.

When we were in India in December, we saw six people on a Bajaj Pulsar motorcycle. and it wasn’t uncommon to see three grown men riding one motorcycle.

Yeah Vespabelle! And in India they are saying, “When we went to America last December, we saw 1 person driving to the mall in a Ford Excursion. By themselves.”
I’d like to meet in the middle a bit with one to two people on a scooter. That would work for me.
And, the only chicken in that picture would be me if I were driving. I don’t mind being responsible for MY life, but 5 others? Ack!

I guess one good point to this is when they are in the city, you rarely see them going over 25 mph. It is so congested that you can’t go any faster! I rode three up on a “honda cub” knockoff in Cambodia last summer…but it was still frightening.
