Bob E. up in the Great White North reminded me of an American Classic today. It seems a fellow Canadian is selling a project Harley Topper for $3500 CAN OBO, which translates roughly into $3000 US OBO.
Now… The photo you see above is not the project Topper… No, it’s an 1960 original condition with less than 2,500 miles on her. Right now on eBay she’s going for $4,500.00 with about 5 hours to go. I wouldn’t be surprised if she sold for over $5,000, due to her condition.
I’ve always wanted a Topper to ride down to the Harley rally on. I couldn’t POSSIBLY get any dirty looks! IT’S A HARLEY! Click on the title link to see the ebay listing for the scooter seen above.

This actually went for $4500 to Motobones. Lucky guy. Judging by his bidding history he is a collector of American classics and oddities. My kinda guy! Congrats Motobones!
