(went with scooter donut cause they were all outta scooter pie charts)
I’m not gonna post the story here, but if you click on the title like you see a story Jeremy Cato where he does a decent job of breaking out who’s who of scooter riders. I thought it was an interesting read at least. Thanks to Bob Erkamp for the scoopage!

So how much did Yamaha pay this reporter to keep mentioning Vino. Other than Vespa there was no mention of the “13 other brands” available in Canada. It was a fun read but a bit vague. You can park a scooter on the sidewalk but what wasn’t clarified is as long as it is 50cc. Also the larger displacement scoots are hardly mentioned. Not all scooters are small. Majesty’s, Burgmans and others physically are as large as motorcycles.

Guess I don’t fit, either. I’m a male between the ages of 20 and 70, but I didn’t buy my scooter because I couldn’t afford something else or because my rickety old bones won’t hold up to motorcycle abuse…I’m in excellent health with no issues. Hmmm. And I don’t live in a metropolitan area, so I’m not a trend-setter…couldn’t care less what YOU do. I guess just riding scooters because you love the small size, the way they handle, wringing that last bit of power out of a small engine…just living with a grin on your face doesn’t fit any “profile”. Guess the writer needs to do some more research…
