Aving.net had posted some images of what appears to be a gold plated SMART car. As a matter of fact, anywhere you see the image you’ll see someone refer to it as the gold plated SMART. Further research shows that they used a SLC (no, not Salt Lake City) “Surface Like Chrome” process. The German company, Durovib, have a patented process of applying a chrome-like surface on plastics. A tint is applied during the “chroming” process to make the surface appear any metallic color… gold, red, silver. Looks like you could just put it on a chain and wear it around your neck.
