How can you take a man seriously who does not know how to tie a tie properly? Douchebag.

Actually I was itchy so I let it loose, but I’m glad people look at me so closely.
Thanks Steve for posting this. I started at 6 with an ATV 70cc from Honda. So I can say that in 30 years I’ve been riding almost my entire life. Probably tried more bikes than most people who are out there.
I’ve seen all the sides from a consumer, as a retailer, distributor, importer so I think I can share my opinion and help educate people. I’ve met CEOs from Japan to Italy from Aprilia to Zongshen the whole alphabet so whenever I can share some info on the industry or what I see happening I do my best.
It was a good forum, sometimes the line between consumer / enthusiast gets blurred because most consumers don’t know all the issues between distributors / OEM and the stores. I try to help out as much as I can but there is a limit when you are running a business or being an industry professional.
This is a great enthusiast site and the fact that I consider Steve an industry insider and professional now he’s opinion is even more respected since he’s been on the other side of the coin.
I think a lot of companies would benefit from talking to people like Steve and getting their feedback on the market needs. Even the bigger companies like Honda or Yamaha that could really make a difference in the US market. There should be better forums out there for these voices to be heard at a more professional level.

Hey Massimo! Um, I think that’s the wrong Joel Martin. Sorry.
JP! Yeah, the video had some choppy parts. Good video on YouTube can be an art in itself! If you don’t get it right, it’s painful.
Anon#1 and #2
OUCH guys! That’s pretty harsh.
The first one we can fix with this:
http://tinyurl.com/howtotie
The second one is more complex. The only way that can be fixed is if dealers take the time to write in and let ‘em know what’s wrong. I hate to see anyone not get a fair shake. You can even send the suggestions to me and I’ll send them to MRP anonymously for you. I haven’t personally done business with Joel, but he knows the industry and I enjoy chatting with the guy. Just putting the offer out there. Thanks to everyone for chiming in!
