(Before with the 2008 PX in both the navigation on the left and in the box at the lower right. Caught this as a Google cached site HERE.)
I can always count on getting the Vespa scoop from my good friend… IN JAPAN, Aki Hasegawa. He noted that a few weeks ago the shiny old classic was right there on the front page of the it.Vespa.com site and now? She’s gone! Vanished with narry a trace. What is the meaning of this? Is it delayed? Canceled? We can only speculate. I have a hunch that it’s because their manufacturer is a bit tied up at the moment… producing Stellas. But, it’s just a hunch.
(After, the PX is GAWN! Not in the nav not in the box, just a little java button that doesn’t work)

That’s a shame. It’s the passing of a generation of scooters. It had to happen sooner or later, but it doesn’t make it hurt any less!

Hey!
After reading aboult the vanishing PX I have been checking the Vespa site often. Well The PX125 is back on their web site!!
Makes me wonder if LML & Piaggiao kissed & made up?

Hrm… I didn’t see it on the Italian page or the USA page today. Don’t know exactly what’s going on. I doubt they do either.
I know my local shop has a new (2005) for sale, but no word on a 2009 yet. Maybe in September we’ll know more from the Vespa Dealer meeting.
I’m wondering if we will see the rumored 4-stroke on the roads. Time will tell (if a scooper doesn’t find out first).
Cheers!
