THE APRILIA SCOOTER YOU’LL LOVE TO RIDE, ALL DAY, EVERY DAY!
APRILIA Sonic 50 & Sonic 50 GP
The SONIC is a brand new type of scooter. Its winning features include not only compact size, light weight and low cost, but high levels of comfort, space and safety too. The SONIC boasts an excellent standard of finish and comes in a choice of attractive, original colour schemes.
The SONIC is available in two versions, the standard SONIC and the SONIC GP, both based on the same winning principles, but with quite different characters.
The SONIC is the ideal choice for riders who demand comfort above all else, but do not want to sacrifice style, economy and performance to have it.
Thanks to its light weight and sporty engine, the SONIC has all the acceleration and power you need to tackle even the trickiest riding conditions with ease and confidence.
Its small size makes the SONIC easy to ride, nippy in traffic and a piece of cake to park. Yet, the compact SONIC is amazingly comfortable, even for tall riders, and boasts a generous amount of space, including a practical forward storage compartment for personal effects and an under-seat compartment that is large enough to hold a full-face helmet.
The SONIC GP takes the already excellent acceleration, responsiveness and agility of the SONIC and adds a liberal dose of aggressive sports performance. The liquid cooled engine lets you leave the rest standing at the lights and sprint safely though city traffic. The SONIC is not just an expression of style but of intelligence and individuality too.
The design differences between the SONIC GP and the air-cooled SONIC are dictated by the GP’s sportier performance, and include a front radiator grille and a rear spoiler.
All models in the range are fitted with Aprilia’s latest, exclusive catalytic converter to make the environmentally friendly SONIC extremely silent running and clean, in full compliance with the latest emission control standards.
