I don’t have any details on this right now… But when they come I’ll fill you in.
***UPDATE***
I got a little more details on the Cuban Coco Taxi here, but if you want the real details check out the comments from an anonymous Scooter Scooper. This person KNOWS Coco and can sum it up in one internationally recognized word… “No!”

Looks like it’s based on a Vespa or Bajaj 3 wheeler. Wouldn’t be hard to make a fiberglass body to go on one.

“The coco taxis are inherent dangerous and my friend the taxi driver (yes he is biaed!) say they have many accidents. I have stopped riding the coco taxis because of the danger of beeing crushed in a collision. The coco taxi drivers drive far too fast for the three wheel vehicles and when raining they are even more dangerous when the driver doesn’t see much and it is slippery. They are even not cheap, 50 cent a km is only the starter in my experience. I do no have a pocket odometer and you must pay what the driver tells you and I find it often more expensive than Lada taxis. I simply stopped using them.”
