Another reprint. Also, not new or even existant on the market, but it is a fanciful little covered concept… Well, I say little, but 750cc is nothing to laugh at. Enjoy!

Honda Elysium

A futuristic all-weather transporter fusing sportiness and comfort, the Elysium gives form to the idealof a comfortable, stylish transporter, and shows the evolutionary potential ofcommuter scooters. Powered by a quiet, liquid-cooled 4-stroke flat-4 enginewith a low center of gravity, its drivetrain featuresa new, Honda-developed combined CVT (continuously variable transmission) andshaft drive. Its power roof, operated by a single switch, allows easy open-aircruising in good weather, or a more protected ride

when the going gets wet. The control console includes a digital speedometer, navigation system, and a monitor display of the rear view via a sonar.

The Honda motorcycle booth introduces two worlds: the “LIFESTYLE Wing” for new life style and “SPORTS Wing” with the theme of ‘fun to ride’. With two specially featured motorcycles at center stage, unique and original new conceptual and road-going models are also displayed.
The Main Stage exhibitions include:
A large-displacement scooter, the ELYSIUM which is powered by a newly designed liquid-cooled four-stroke horizontally opposed four-cylinder engine with an electric convertible roof for superb weather protection and a convenient navigation system.

    The guy that left the “tampoon[sic]with a motor” comment is an idiot. This is a REALLY cool vehicle. I’d buy one tomorrow if available in the USA.
