(Damn! A MAN’S scooter… hehe)

AMADirectlink – Craig Vetter and his Defiant scooter: “‘I want to do this,’ he says, stepping through his new machine to sit down.

But modern scooters just didn’t appeal to him. He wanted a scooter that had substance, some serious horsepower and maybe just a nod to the old Cushman he enjoyed in his youth. So he went to task and built the Defiant.”

One more picture… This thing is so sweet.

(And if my images arn’t working… go check the video instead.)

Dude, Did you see some of the crazy bodywork they have put on them?

Very Buck Rogers or Yellow Submarine looking. Funny you should mention Vetter body work. I actually e-mailed Vetter about his Defiant and he responded saying that he’s been thinking about making a body set for the Honda Helix. Maybe not exactly the same. He actually said “Not as silly”. I would be interested in seeing what he had in mind. I’ll keep ya posted though.

Now that is one helluva scooter. You could tell your wife/mother/insurance agent that you’re just buying a scooter to putt around town on.

I wish Craig Vetter well in whatever he gets into. I have a Vetter Windjammer IV fairing, which has been out of production for decades, yet he still makes parts available for them– trim strips, hardware, etc.
