You know, I still have a buddy in England that would probably purchase and ship us a couple of those if we sent him the cash…

‘Course he might have to ship them a few parts at a time to call the shipments replacement parts instead of vehicles.

    Where’s Peter’s phone number?…

Nate… you are the voice of temptation today. I did e-mail Sachs in Germany to double check if there is /isn’t an importer in the US. Awaiting a response. They were supposed to get here Spring 2005. I know I haven’t seen one.

It does look like these guys might be getting them in though:

and they are supposed to sell for just under $2,000 US.

Right now is just a bad time for me with a kid on the way. I may have to wait till the 125cc version comes out.

    I do like their description:
    The ultimate 50cc motorcycle!

If life kicks you in the ass – kick back!
The awesome features of the radically styled new Sachs Madass 50cc include: twin outlet underseat muffler, LED tail lights, monoshock suspension, tubular space frame incorporating fuel tank, front and rear disc brakes and three spoke alloy wheels. Topping it off styling wise are the mean streetfighter style naked twin headlights.
This bike is like nothing ever seen before!
    Take off on wheels!

Actually… on second glance, 45mph may be about as fast as I’d wanna go on this baby… 125cc may be a bit too much for me on a motorized bicycle. I do feel safe however doing 78 on my Honda Helix… go figure.
