Shout-out to wendyfairy for shooting this excellent specimen and posting it to Flickr. She describes it as:
“Quite possibly the ugliest scooter ever made representing Czech design from the 1950′s to the 1960′s on display as part of DesignBlok ’05 in Wenceslas Square in Prague, Czech Republic.”
You can also czech it out from the back (d’oh!) by going here.
***UPDATE***
This baby is called the CZeta or sometimes rebranded as the NZeta. You can find a page dedicated to it here. I know DallasScooters.com may still have a 1960 if yer interested. A steal at <$4000! Check it out here.

Or, if you are in the Nashville area, pick up the 3-wheeled pickup version for <$3000 here!

Someone else’s quest to ID this baby. See what was dug up here. (Nice pictures)

Isn’t the gas tank the thing that is located in front of the legshield? That’s sommy brilliant design (sarcasm intended). Crash and KABOOM!

RE: “gas tank… located in front”
Tell me you’re joking.
Anyway, it looks like something Charlie Brown would ride.

Yup, I heard about the gas tank being in the front off of the Scooter BBS (http://www.scooterbbs.com/board/DCForumID1/39897.html). It’s pretty cool looking, but I’d consider it more of a missile than a scooter.

i got an nzeta with a honda 250 tucked away inside it , fantastic scooter , great fun overtaking fast vespas an lammys at high speed , but oh the front tank thing is kinda worrying at 100mph
