Perfect for the do-it-yerselfer who likes it mostly done from them already. According to Engadget, the kit “includes an amp, two 4-inch Alpine speakers, replacement glovebox door with pre-cut holes, and a cradle/connector for hooking up your ‘pod or other DAP.” Perfect for the underachieving modder with a spare $300 bucks to burn. Of course, if you have more time and skill than you do money, you’re better off bustin’ out the ole Dremel and hittin’ your local car stereo outlet. Go here to buy one for yourself or to get more idea shots. I wonder how it sounds. Oh yeah… and go here to see a nice little DIY tutorial.

That is rad. I would love to hear music on my Vespa, but don’t want to pay $300. I already have the iPod, and http://www.scootordie.com has some other directions for DIY installs. It can be done easily from computer speakers, so says scootordie. But anyway I am a very serious music listener and I would probably get too into it to listen while riding. although, a scooter specific iPod shuffle might be a better ticket here, to leave locked in the scooter. anyway who am i to talk, my vespa is in pieces in the basement…. crap.
