Scooter Rider Magazine Celebrates its Second Year of Promoting Transportation Via Scooter with the Scoot Commute 2006: “Scoot Commute 2006 will take place from April 8 – 21. Our editor, BJ Strass, will cover a transcontinental route, starting in California and ending in Florida. The southerly route will keep a leisurely pace and utilize a minimum of interstates, focusing on scenic backroads and out-of-the-way points of interest. During the event no support vehicles are utilized; all necessary gear will be packed on the scooter. Mr Strass will also be meeting with Scooter Rider Magazine subscribers and interested media at stopovers. The planned nightly stopovers are:
