Looks like the MadAss’s biggest blemish is about to get some makeup! In the UK.

The MadAss with a 125cc motor is coming to the King’s People in May. If you want one and you live in the USA, you’re better off searching for “Lifan 125cc XR” on ebay and doing it yourself. No word on when to expect the official 125cc MadAss or the 88cc upgrade kit, but we’ll keep you posted. (thanks for the scoop Steven W!)

MCN: The UK’s number 1 motorcycling magazine: “Madass 125 due in May
The 125cc version of the lightweight Sachs Madass will arrive in UK dealers in may 2006.

Weight just 95kg, the fuel-in-frame design means it resembles a mountain bike on steroids. It also features a rear mono-shock with hydraulic damping and adjustable pre-load, twin headlights, LED tail lights, a 260mm front brake disc and a 215mm rear disc.”

yea…the 50 cc version is anemic, however, the 125 with very light weight plus plenty of speed for urban driving, makes it a buy…let’s see when the u.s. finally gets it. Hey, it can also be used for light off-road driving. It is fully automatic too!

The US market desperately needs more 125ccs and 150ccs. I’d rock a MadAss. I need to try one out one of these days.
