I bought the twin note unit from Griot’s Garage and put it on my Honda Silver Wing. That puppy is LOUD, but also draws like 16 amps at 12 volts. I would love to have something like that for my Kymco P150, but I think it would seriously overtax the electrical system.

Hrm… Couldn’t get the video to work, but from the title seems like they are talking about the 2005 Honda Concept scooters… The Griffin or the E4-01.

And for Ed. I like the idea of adding a big horn. I even toyed with the idea of putting in a compressor and a big rig horn… or maybe a freight train horn or cruise liner horn on my Helix. I’ll check out that Griot’s Garage horn you’re talking about. I know the Bad Boy is tiny, which is really good for a scooter.

Like I said before, this puppy is LOUD!!! and has already paid for itself. It is a dual note horn and sounds like one on a freight train. I ride my Silver Wing often with a bunch of “real motorcycle riders”, and “the scooter with the air horns” is always a big hit at every ride. They are always asking me to blow it. I sure wish it didn’t draw so much current as I sure wish I could put one on the P150. Also, finding a place to mount it on the P150 would be a challenge.

NO, NO.
Use IE not FoxFire.
They start off with the concept scoots but then they show a couple Honda sport bikes, what looks like a 50cc hybrid, and then a green scooter that looks a lot like the TMAX.
The green TMAX-ish scoot has very little step-through as if the engine is mounted forward rather than on the swing-arm.

Amazing coincidence, on my way home from work tonight I stopped at Harbor Freight for some shop supplies. Guess what I found? That same horn! So of course I bought one for my scooter! It will get installed this weekend.
