Like ‘em or not, the Chinese clone scooters are big sellers. I’m sure you recognize the one above. Well, if you made custom performance parts you would be dumb to over look this fact. So MPR, Martin Performance Racing, has developed the “MRP Turbo Kit Dual Exhaust for the GY6 B”. Simply replacing the OEM pipe with this baby give’s your chinese Velocity 150 a flying sidekick in the tail end with a whopping 10MPH boost.

Unfortunately this particular pipe won’t fit the Matrix or Vento due to differences in the bracket and swing arm.

If you are looking at joining the Attack of the Clones, you may want to invest $399 (MSRP) on this custom pipe. It’ll likely will be the best piece of equipment on the whole scooter.

Its the Tawainese that are building all the hop-up parts and most are being sold through Puerto Rico. I keep looking at new bits for mine but I’m trying to resist so I can move up.

I’m pretty certain that pipe will fit my Phantom’s mount. Can’t say about the UM scoots.

And sadly, MRP puts themselves behind retailers making their parts more expensive instead of selling direct to the public.

Finally, that shiny pipe won’t do you a bit of good until you ditch the stock, dinky intake manifold and the too small and too lean carb for bigger bits. Then it all comes together. (And you open up the snake filled Pandora’s box of re-jetting adventures.)
