BuzzBomb says:

As everyone knows, Zac’s accident has left him in a coma with a baby less than 2 weeks old, and a wife who is still recovering, out of work…and now trying to figure out how to be a parent, while also trying to cope with her husband’s injuries.

I know Yvette and Zac would probably say “no thankyou, we’ll manage somehow” if I asked if they needed help – but I know from experience that after these medical issues come up, the financial issues aren’t far behind.

Zac had been wearing full gear, armored jacket, gloves, pants, boots, and he had the best helmet he could get. If not for that he wouldn’t have even made it until the paramedics showed up. It’s always sad to hear about a fellow scooterist getting smashed up. It’s also scary when they’re experienced riders with proper gear. Of course, people get badly injured in cars from time to time, too.
Any specifics on what happened? I’d bet dollars to doughnuts some “inattentive motorist” was involved. All the safety gear in the world won’t save you when someone decides to drive like a bl***y moron.
