We’ve already heard of condos and townhouses coming with a free Vespa. Now home sellers are getting into the game. Check out this NBC report snippet.

nbc4.com – News – Va. Couples Use Creative Incentives To Attract Home Buyers: “Her real estate agent, Ron Cathell, said it’s all because of a dramatic shift from a seller’s market to a buyer’s market. A year ago, houses were on the market an average of 15 days. That number is up to 49.

‘If this had been a year ago, this house obviously would have been gone by now,’ he said. ‘It’s absolutely a gorgeous home. It’s in a beautiful neighborhood.’

But the Heckathorns have struck on an idea they hope will shake up the market a bit. They have put out an ad saying they will throw in two Vespa scooters with the house.

The Heckathorns got their idea from the Garrigans of Woodbridge. They’re offering a Toyota Corolla to whoever buys their house. They, too, were stunned when their home saw little traffic after it was listed in March.”
