(Its like watching a hippo perform in The Nutcracker)
Everyone’s favorite 3-wheeled oddity has been making the rounds with invites from Piaggio to come give ‘er a spin. Motoblog.it got the scoop of Lorenzo Barons showing the MP3 who’s boss. The thing apparently handles like a dream… a dream that could use a double-scoop of engine. The only complaint was that it needed more geddup-and-go.
Click on the title link to see more shots of the MP3 being put through its paces. I wanna turn!

Both H-D and Polaris/Victory have signed deals with Lehman to build Trike versions of their bikes. The assumption is that they are targeting the aging cruiser segment. However, there are downsides to the standard trike configuration such as the fact that it WIDE and you lose the funnest part of riding a bike which is leaning in the twisties. What really needs to be done is a large-wheel version of the MP3 with automatic transmission, a 1000cc engine, with optional topbox and hard sidecasses for touring.

By the way, the USA Honda dealers meeting was yesterday in Vegas and last night at 8:pm they had a sneak preview of the upcomming 2007 models on the Red Riders club for members only. No DN-01, no E4-01, no Griffon, and no new scooters listed at all. Just a couple of updated bikes and a new FourTrack.

Dudel! You’re always full of scoops!
So the HD and Polaris bikes are just standard trikes, eh? No lean? Not impressed.
I wanna see someone come out with THIS thing: http://wapurl.co.uk/?I5DRX0B
As for the 2007 introductions… I was there for the 2006 announcements and it was equally uninspiring.
Honda is gonna loose some major market share to the likes Yamaha & Kymco in ’07… more so than they already have. *tisk tisk*
