This is exciting! A HUGE central Texas rally is coming up in San Antonio (home of the best breakfast tacos known to man). So, get out there and register! I know we’ll be there.
There are two groups riding from Austin. Let me know if you’re interested in joining in and I’ll do my best to get you the details. Click on the title link to go to the official rally page. Thanks to Erika for the details.

I’ll fill you in on what I know. I will be leading a group down on Friday October 6th from somewhere in South Austin. I’m planning a 2 pm departure, but this may change. I have a backroad route planned that stays off I-35 and the frontage.
I don’t want to make any hard “150cc or higher” rules, because there are fast small-engined bikes, and slow large-engined bikes, but bear in mind it’s about 80 miles down there, and we don’t want to take all day.
There is another (possibly slower) group planning to ride down after the work day ends. I don’t know much about this one, other than it’s supposed to leave Austin around 5:30 pm, and I’ll be giving them a map of my route.

Awesome James!
My crew hasn’t decided for certain if we are going to ride it or wimp-out and truck it. We ARE a buncha old mofos with kids, bad backs and questionable scooters.
Please keep us posted though!

You heard it here first. From an Aprilia rep who was recently at the factory…
“The mega scooter thats been doing the rounds as a Gilera is going to be in the Aprilia 2007 line up.”
