While poking around motoblog.it I found an interesting jacket from UFO Plast in Italy. It’s an enduro jacket called the MX-17. VERY visible, as you can see, and sort of reminded me of Blowtorch from the old GI Joe days.
Now, I’m not sure if it is armored or not, so it may be a BYOA situation… then to make matters worse, I’m not sure you can even get UFO Plast in the USA. So the use of this jacket on your scooter here in the USA is purely hypothetical.
If you want even MORE info on this jacket, don’t bother going to UFO Plast’s home page. It’s useless.

Oh, yeah, that is sooo Blowtorch. There was a GI Joe scooter club a while back, I remember a Cobra scooter and plans for more, but I guess they all got married and had kids.
I think there’s only one guy in Italy who does web design, and he only knows Flash, and he doesn’t have a clue how to build a shopping cart, let alone one with international currency and shipping rates. Sometimes I wonder how any business survives over there, then I remember; “Government bailouts.”
Anyway, that is one visible-ass jacket.
