OBIBOI is back at it with what he envisions Kawasaki should do to make their foray into the Scooter world. It’s genetics are pretty obvious… Knobby tires, narrow plastic fenders, high stance, and Kawasaki’s motorcross green, it’s like a baby cousin to the KX series. I see some potential for a narrow little mud hopper like this, especially if it were a 2 stroke Minarelli or something with good tuning support.

    I’ve rode Kawasakis for a long time. I rode KDXs for years before I moved to the “big city.” Loved em, but they were a little ugly. This design? A lot ugly. It reminds me of those “super deformed” japanese videogame characters, only applied to a dirt bike. Interesting.. but ugly!

    I actually like it. Kind of a rough and tumble design. I would not use the 50cc motor but rather a variation of the 110cc used in the small play bike, 4 stroke, more power and much more aftermarket parts

    It would definitely require an engine upgrade to be competitive in the U.S. market. There are several 50cc “commando scooters” available already: the Honda Ruckus, the Piaggio Typhoon, the late Yamaha Zuma. This category would probably sell much better given more power than a (restricted) 50cc can provide.
