This photo taken at Volksworld 2007 by “pauls” shows a wacky Lambretta with VW van sidecar. I can’t say I’ve ever thought about doing this sort of mod. Somehow it works out and still manages to seem ‘not right’.

    This is a clever union for a show appearance. It’s really difficult for a common perception to decide if it is a huge lambretta or a small van

    Yes, this picture really works out and for me it seems very unique. It’s not interesting when everything is right and in order, such unique thing surely should exist.

    People have different opinion, but for it seems more like small van, because I see the place where they are situated. But it can be seen from many points of view.

    If I remember correctly the split side car here is one of the “vw bratz” fiber glass split shells. There was a couple of guys a few years ago selling these small vw splits, the running gear was either a ride on petrol powered lawn mower or alternatively electric invalid car as a base, very cool !
    I would love to know if there are any shells left ?
