The Zantajet from Belgian comics writer Franquin and his comic strip Spirou and Fantasio, except for REAL! This little baby will hit 130mph at a height of 100 feet! :D just kidding.
This photo is from yhancik, who took some photos from Franquin’s exhibition. For me, it’s just one step closer to a Speederbike.

Just to be a snit, allow me to point out that Piaggio has been building aircraft much longer than they’ve been building scooters. : )

Oooohhhh! Dang it. I shoulda put “Vespa” instead of Piaggio.
Shows you that I was sleeping in Piaggio History 101 class. I do remember that the first Vespa was built from old Piaggio aircraft parts.
Impressive exercise of snittery, my good friend!

I have seen a couple of “flying scooters” made by putting a parasail and fan on, for instance, a Yamaha Zuma. Technically they’re not very aerodynamic and they’re much heavier than the go-kart sorta thing that is usually attached to the parasail, but they do have streetability and a better WTF quotient.
