   I was cringing and not wanting to continue as I saw where this was going… but I was glad I hung in there and saw it through to the end. If it had crashed I would have been bummed for the rest of the hour.

   That’s actually Dutch, it’s a clip from an episode filmed at Zandvoort racetrack in the 70′s.

   I forgot to mention which show it was an episode off, it’s ‘ter land, ter zee en in de lucht’, the full episode is out there somewhere on youtube or google video.. the host with the funny voice is Andre van Duin.

   That’s terrific! Really made me laugh. And it was an abandoned Messer that first turned me on to micro cars- way back in the 80s. I still want to build one!

   Hey Renzsu!

   Thanks for the added info! I was kinda in the same boat at sx200.

   I did some digging around for
   “ter zee en in de lucht” and found
   some videos, including a pretty funny reverse race… but couldn’t find the full Mess. video that this clip is from.

   Oh well, it’s still great.

   It’s a shame you guys don’t understand Dutch.. most of it is pretty stupid (blame the 70′s) but his funny women impressions are still pretty hilarious. Cool blog you run here, a bit Vespa heavy but still, coming from a country where scooters are so common, it’s cool to get a taste of the US subculture!

   It’s just been Vespa heavy lately… well, maybe ever since I got one.. but really we like to talk about whatever is popping up on the radar at the moment.
