Not to be confused with Yamaha’s 2004 Tokyo Boat Show special exhibition model BOAT called the Luxair, the 2007 Tokyo Motor Show’s special exhibition model luxury model cruiser scooter is much cooler. Yamaha really seems to be pushing the envelope in the touring/cruising sector, first with the Morphous/Maxam, and this concept piece. The T-Max is clearly a long touring machine as well, although it’s cut from the same form factor as the Burgman & Silver Wing.
Great photos, but I wish they had comments so I could tell what I was looking at. Also, in this photo of the Honda DN-01, what is that scooter-looking thing in the background? A Silver Wing? It’s got to be some kind of scoot, with the full front fairing and small wheels.

It was a Silver Wing I believe, but I’ll have to doublecheck my other pics.
My favorite maxi-scoot by far was the Yamaha Majesty 250. That thing was SLEEK!

Dunno. The headlights look like Reflex headlights instead of a Silver Wing, but the front fairing and wheel covers don’t look like a Reflex at all. And the short opaque windshield doesn’t look like anything I’ve seen from Honda.
I wonder if… gasp… it could be something new?

Yamaha has sure become creative lately while Honda has MOSTLY been re-doing the smae ‘ole same ‘ole. I like their new cooter designs but not the ‘Luxo’ looking motorcycle. I like old school bikes and someday want a Honda Hawk 400.

Steve, just spotted the B-E-A-U-T-I-F-U-L Vespa “S” 150 today at the 2007 Cycle World International Motorcycle Show in Houston! Styling, built and finish are excellent and will go on sale in January ’08 for about $3,195. Hooray, the Vespa “S” is here, finally!!–Lawrence

Also on hand at the show was a 400cc MP3 and a sign saying that the 500cc MP3 is on its way, too.
Unfortunately, the Honda SH300i was absent as expected. Honda spokesperson blamed the “embargo” against Honda for the limited models that they could bring to US. (I just refuse to understand their logic, damn Honda!)–Lawrence

Behind the white DN-01 was a Forza Z ABS special. Carbin bits, and red trim. Body essentially the same as 2008 prod Forza Z. Skj.
