I know it’s been kinda slow around here lately and I’m WAY behind on my emails (sorry), but I have an excuse… the whole fam has a gut bug that’s reeking havoc on the Steve household. I even had to cancel a caving trip for tonight. I’m hoping I’m back in the saddle by Thanksgiving and posting again shortly after. I don’t wanna miss out on all the grubbin’ and I don’t want YOU to miss out on The Scoop!

Dude, this is all over the place. Nacogdoches is over run with the bug. Sorry to hear you got it too.

Tim! Yeah, this thing is pretty hard core. I think the worst of it has passed. The pinnacle was when my wife gave my son a big ol’ cup of strawberry milk (she didn’t know about the NO DAIRY rule with this bug). Freshly showered, I came down to check on the kids. Picked up my boy and he proceeded to ralph sour, warm, pink, watery, curdled milk ALL over the front of my shirt. I mean collar to coat tail! Well, not literally. But the entire front of my shirt was drenched. After the second bout, I just looked at my wife and we both shared a chuckle at my predicament. I’m just glad I didn’t have my Merciless Tigers jersey on.

And, anon. You gotta give Illnoise a break. Unlike myself, he has a full blown LIFE! Plus, Bryan goes for quality not quantity.

I’ll be back, droppin’ lots of quantity after I get my share of turkey and stuffing.

    **UPDATE**
I finally got my appetite back. Last night went to Whole Foods and ate some Tandori chicken and rice pilaf. Didn’t wanna push my luck, so I’m still keeping my distance from dairy products.
