Here’s the lasted video that goes along with the written review for the 2008 Yamaha C3, being hosted over at Motorcycle.com. Read the review over here. I enjoyed it, but I tell you what… I’ve said it myself and heard from others; we would love to see a that new Zuma 125 engine stuffed into the C3 with a slightly upgraded suspension, seat and front disc. Yamaha? 2010?

I love the design. It really stands out from all the Honda Mets and Met clones out there.

I’ve been drooling over this baby drivin’ around philly for too long now. Now if they’d just design a 125cc version.

Yamaha sent us one here at the office and I took it apart. They promised it a year ago, but it finally got here. It’s sweet looking.
You should try out the MRP exhausts and upgrades we made for the C3. We have a new regulator that will be back in stock in September that gives it 9,000 rpms. The bike is severely restricted, but its awesome looking. I put up a video on the MRP YouTube page.

Although 50cc is too small for the kind of riding I want to do, the C3 is the “anti-style scooter”. A more practical Honda Ruckus if you will. It goes against the retro look of many scooters without trying to look like a sportbike.
For that reason, I like it.

Bravo, Steve! Wonderful review on the c3.
Hey, there’s a rumor that Honda will not carry any scooter in the 2009 line-up??? Could you confirm that? I hope it ain’t true.

Tim! Amen brother!
Jim! Can I get a witness!?
Joel! Hey man, I’d be excited to hear the overall top speed after a complete tuning package. Can she hit 50? Time will tell.
Marc! Hear hear! You hit it on the money. Makes me want one also *hrph…125…cough*.
‘Renzo! WHAT?! No… I know for a fact that there is a 2009 Ruckus and a 2009 Metro. Outside of that we’ll have to wait until October 1st to see. *fingers crossed* I hope they make us fanboys feel bad for all the $#!+ we talked this year by knocking our socks off with some super-dope scoot machines for Oh-Nine. Time will tell.

A 125 plus a front disc brake would be the bee’s knees.
As far as being not-Retro…it rather reminds me of a DKW Manhurin.

We get 44mph and over 125mpg, For a 50cc scooter that is great.
Thanks but 125cc motor would kill the mpg.
Ad’s from MRP?…..Shame on you.
