AND IT CAME TRUE! That’s right Jolly Rogers pictures in Japan has finally given the good old Honda Super Cub a staring role in her own movie called, what else? “SUPER CUB!”. Sure she’s had plenty of guest appearances and co-starring roles (HERE), but her time has finally come. Thanks to Tim for scoopin’ us once again! Now, who’s gonna be the first to import the DVD when in comes out in Japan?

Wow. This for real?
Coolness.

It wouldn’t be the craziest movie the Japanese have made, not by a long shot. I definitely have to have this on DVD.

That is one tricked out Cub!

My favorite part was the subtitle that read, “The famous japanese motorcycle barrels for love, friendship and noodle.”.

Maybe it’s intelligent, like Herbie the Love Bug. It could fall in love with a cute Lambretta.

I was thinking of Herbie, too, when I saw those crazy jumps. There’s a real similarity. Both the VW Beetle and the Honda Cub are cheap, quirky, super-reliable, air-cooled transportation. I’ve also noticed that many fans of old air-cooled VWs tend to have a Cub or two in the garage.
The more I think about the similarity, the more I want to do a custom Herbie the Love Cub.

I like the Love Cub idea. Beats most of the theme bike done by OCC.

Dang! Sorry about that nuthernerd. The only thing I can say in my defense is that Tim has my instant message info, so it’s easy for him to ping me if he thinks I’m ignoring him.
Can you do me a favor and send me another email?
