The boys of The Scooter Review (NZ) have a great new show called RIDE. In this edition Ketzal Sterling takes on commuting on a scooter versus commuting in a car. It looks good, is good for a laugh and best of all it’s educational.
I loved the conclusion, just what I say to the scooter curious. “Buy a scooter, use it to commute to work. Keep your car and use it for other things.” Brilliant job guys!

Awesome vid. It perfectly depicts why I commute to work on my scooter – less time than driving or taking public trans and free parking compared to $16-20/day car or $4.50 public trans. And that doesn’t include running errands around the city. It all adds up over the year to be a no brainer decision.

Cute presenter, lovely clean city. These calculations only work in places where the scooters can filter through the traffic and get preferential lanes as shown in this video. Looks like a paradise for scooters! Around here (Seattle), you sit in line with the cars and you can’t park just anywhere.
