According to the MetroNews in Calgary, Scooters were the toque, er TALK of the town at the Calgary Motorcycle Show this past weekend.  I’m not sure if it has anything to do with that fact that it was also “No Pants Day“, if it’s because Alberta altered their laws to allow 50cc scoots on the road without a motorcycle license, OR if it’s because gas is $3.31 (USD) a gallon up there.  They also said Electrics were a popular item because they are “environmentally friendly”… Well, granting they were made using environmentally safe manufacturing methods and are built to last.  The last thing we need is a a thousand freighters full of disposable, lead bombs from China littering up our landfills… and “YES” it will happen.
