Woohoo! AmeriVespa is a TOTAL success. We are in the middle of the 5 day event right now and last night (Friday) we had our first scooter raffle prize drawn. And the winner is… ROBERT, who got his hands on a brand new 2010 Sachs MadAss 125.
Robert was called to the Lucha Libre mat last night at the Friendly Spot Ice House to receive his brand new scooter (well, motorcycle). The audience was excited, and befuddled; many of them having never laid eyes on a MadAss before. There were lots of cheers and playful calls of disappointment from the remaining watchers; streams of raffle tickets clutched tightly in their hands.
Afterward there was an announcement about a build-off that Peirspeed, distributor of the MadAss, is holding at the next AmeriVespa (New Orleans – June 2011). Teams are being challenged to build the ultimate custom MadAss. They will be judged on performance, aesthetics and overall creativity. Now’s the time to bust out your pencils and sketch pads and start dreaming up the Ultimate MadAss! There will be thousands of dollars in prizes and I hear they will be giving away a one-of-a-kind custom bike as well. We’ll post more details here as they come.
