News

We just got this bit of video showing Binh in great spirits as he prepares to cross the border into Canada on his way to Alaska. Shout outs to Seattle Scooter Center for sharing this video with us!

I imagine Binh got his oil changed and his Symba should be broken in pretty well by now. I would have liked to have done a study on fuel efficiency changes as the bike breaks in, but Binh’s got a lot of other stuff to consider on this epic journey. We wish you great weather Binh!

***UPDATE 6/23/10 – 6pm CST***

I’m in Prince George now and will go maybe another 200 miles today.

Yesterday was a long 400+ mile day. Canada Customs thought my trip was pretty outrageous so they had me go through the questioning area so it took a while. Hit the Trans-Canada Hwy 1 for 70+km bike was able to go 55-60mph the whole way. Camped a few miles shy of 150 mile house. BC Hwy 97 looks a lot like hwy 395 in Cali. After this I won’t update till I get to White Horse (the next large town).

Binh got caught in the snow at one point and had to turn back!  Can you believe it?!  It’s hard for me to fathom that it is 97 degrees here on this sunny day in June and our neighbors up north are still experiencing ice and snow?  WOOHOO!  RIDE ON BIHN!

Where is all of Binh’s gear? Is he riding to Alaska with just a backpack?
