Just submitted our pick for Best Scooter 2010 over at Motorcycle.com.  Any guesses?  I’ll give you a hint… I tested this scooter in May.  Wait!  Before you click the link (and scroll way to the bottom), I’m curious.  What would YOU say is the Best Scooter for 2010?  It doesn’t necessarily have to be a newly released model, just tell us what scooter stood out to you this year.  Something that pushed the envelope?  Something that you’ve anticipated?  Something that really fits our current socioeconomic situation?  I was really impressed by the scooter I selected and I can’t wait for you to give it a test ride some time.

Dude, I’ve seen several Zuma 125s here in Nashvegas. They’re here, for sure.

Still, I would go with your pick for the one I most covet.

I’m now reading that review of the Honda PCX. That looks like a blast to ride.

I have been impressed with the styling, engineering and build quality of the MadAss. Recently rode a tuned version at “Scoot” scooter shop in Houston Texas. Very impressive ride. My vote goes to the MadAss.

Yamaha Tmax, simply the best performance scooter we can buy in the USA.
Frame mounted, twin engine, low center of gravity, 4 gallon fuel tank, and 21st century styling.

    Spout on,
Seriously I wouldn’t take their Scooter Award with a grain of salt. Just how many did they test. I’m sure they haven’t scratched the surface of whats available.
    Spout-off off,
Since Sym’s 300 never made it here I’d have to agree even though I haven’t seen nor ridden the Downtown.
I am however convinced that a well tuned 300cc motored scooter is the perfect combination of pep and economy. Truly hi-way capable if sane speed is your goal and I’ve witnessed MPG’s in the 70′s during sedate back road travel.
Anything larger seems to come with an MPG tax and smaller creates compromises on the expressway with it’s wide varying situations.

I’ll chip in with my UK S-Wing 125 plus my Leo Vince exhaust when they finally fix the faulty down pipe design which bangs off the frame over ruts and get me a new pipe.

Would have prefered the Euro mainland 150cc model though and maybe slightly larger brakes.

Anyhow though not just as powerful as I’d like I do think this scooter is something special. It looks good in black and is a fun, stable and functional ride too.

If I ever find a better scoot then I will be really impressed

Man, I wish we could test the smaller Silverwings here, but all we got is the 600cc. Great bike, but a bit of overkill for the city.

        Hi Steve

Can’t understand why they don’t sell the 150 S-Wing in the US. I think it could do really well. Never tried the SHi but I just hate how it looks and would miss the integrated screen of the S-Wing.

Yes around here they seem to be selling a lot of these S-Wing even though they are priced a wopping £3400 rrp. Maybe something to do with seeing me on mine all of the time? I got mine for £1200 trading in my old Pantheon.

I’m hoping Honda will put the 300i engine into an S-Wing type bike or even an actual S-Wing for maybe 2012. I’m definitely getting one if they do.

Last night I was sweeping thorough the Irish country bends at 50mph in the bends all leaned over like I was in moto GP or something but thats actually how this bike best corners. Total Fun.

Tried the Silver Wing 600 as was looking at getting one. Great for long cruise. Not as good for anything else. Stuck with the S-Wing with 80mpg av around town.

Tried to insert a pic but…..?

If they liked the Honda PCX, they would have loved the Blur 220i.
