Bryce prolly coulda helped us out here with the info on the MadAss Clone. 75cc’s for the low low price of $489 + $150S&H. For some reason, that doesn’t sound too bad. It comes in Silver and can go up to 70 Km/Hr. They can be purchased here. I’d like to get my hands on one and run it through some tests. Maybe one day I can get my hands on a REAL MadAss and do a comparison. Until then, please let me know if you get your hands on one of these guys and let us know what you think.

I am a devote of the Madass. I would want one with a 150 or 200cc. Same size frame with a monster engine.

Anyhow, all of the Sachs scooters and mopeds are made in China, from what I’ve been told. So I’m not surprised there are knock offs.

I’ve only seen pictures of one knock off, but it looked really cheap. The details didn’t look good compared with the real thing.

    According to the experts here:

We were supposed to see these in the USA this last Spring.

I wonder what went wrong there.

most likely they had trouble getting them to pass emmissions and safet standards here in the US for Road use. That knowck-off looks like it might be very close to being on-registerable as a road bike especially since they list it as a “dirt-bike”.

Yeah. I hear some towns are a little easier to register in. To get one of these “OK’d”, you’d prolly have to do some real fancy footwork.
