Scooter

(Obiboi!  All that great design seems lost on Kawasaki.)
Les amis over at Scooter-Station (title link) aren’t the kind of guys to wait-and-see if Kawasaki will surprise us with a scooter for 2009 or 2010… nope, they went straight to Japan and asked Kawasaki’s big bosses in person.  So, Will we see a scooter from Kawasaki?  To summarize their response, “no.”  Click on the title link to read the whole piece.

We could always build a “Scoop” project bike using Kawi’s kx85 engine.

    Would be a blast!

The ninja 250 and 500 twins are gutless wonders. A 2T KX85 engine would be more fun.

Jo…. I see what you are doing. Trying to tempt me to get back into the building-an-experimental-scooter idea. I’m not going to fall for it.

What is that? A liquid cooled 85cc 2-stroke engine? How much HP does it put out?

    Hrm…

He does some great renderings in Illustrator and Photoshop, but I’d love to see something of his actually get built.

Why would make a scooter when the 250 ninja is their best selling bike?
